About Me :)

Food has always been a love of mine, but my journey as a foodie truly began after I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Navigating life with a chronic illness made me rethink my relationship with food—not just as something to enjoy, but as something that could nourish, heal, and bring joy even on the hardest days. Cooking and exploring flavors became my outlet, a way to create happiness for myself and those around me.

Through it all, my biggest supporter has been my husband, Victor. From the moment we met, he’s been my rock, my partner in everything, and the love of my life. Building our life together, raising our kids, and working side by side on WHSL has been the greatest adventure.

Our children are the heart of everything I do. As a mom to four amazing kids, including two boys with disabilities, my journey has been shaped by love, advocacy, and the drive to create a more inclusive world for them. Their strength, uniqueness, and resilience inspire me every day.

That’s why I created The Foodie Fest—because food is more than just what’s on the plate. It’s about community, culture, and bringing people together. I wanted to create an event where everyone—food lovers, families, and people from all walks of life—could share in the joy of food, connection, and celebration.
